It’s with much personal sadness that I’m sharing the news that our Chair, Hattie Llewelyn-Davies has passed away, following a short illness.
Hattie was an inspirational leader with extensive experience Chairing a number NHS organisations, including Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust, Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and most recently The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust.
Hattie also contributed to social housing organisations as well as many other areas of public life – she will be much missed across the NHS and beyond.
Since Hattie joined us over a year ago she has provided unwavering support to me as CEO and the wider Executive team – leading the Board to focus on the Trust’s strategic priorities with communities and patients at the centre of every decision. It has been a personal privilege to work closely with Hattie. She was a wise, compassionate and kind person and I know colleagues across EPUT will feel her loss deeply.
Our condolences are with Hattie’s family and many friends at this sad time and we send them our support and thoughts.
Paul
