Grant Funded Programmes

The Enable East team has significant experience of working within a grant funding environment, leading on grant applications and subsequent design and delivery of projects that help our local communities thrive. We are grateful to have successfully bid for Portfolio funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, European Social Fund, UKSPF and Community Renewal Fund. We also deliver grant funding programmes on behalf of a number of Local Authorities.

We have been successful in securing more than £11 million to date with previous programmes Coproduced and delivered in Partnership with community organisations. Where possible we involve people with Lived Experience and Peer Support Workers as part of our delivery teams as they bring invaluable experience to our work.

Our programmes have focussed on Family Wellbeing and Resilience, Employment Support for people with common mental health problems (HeadsUp) and Developing Skills for Life. Our current delivery is around Financial Wellbeing through the national Multiply programme.

To find out more about our grant funded activity or to chat about new opportunities please contact us [email protected].

Our current grant funded programme

A national programme focused on raising participation in learning around numeracy, confidence in managing personal finances and attainment in Maths courses for adults aged 19 and over.

At Enable East, the FREE sessions we are offering centre on Financial Wellbeing, and we deliver these in community settings, In Chelmsford HMP and also as part of our programme for Inpatients at EPUT. We cover a number of session subjects including budgeting and managing monthly finances, the relationship between money and wellbeing and also signposting to local support services.

Our work has been funded by Essex County Council, Southend-on-Sea City Council and Thurrock Council.

If you’d like to find out more about getting involved yourself or, if you’d like to chat about how to arrange for us to come and work with a group of your clients/participants/volunteers/staff please contact [email protected].
