The South East and South West Essex Podiatry Service provides treatment to patients who live and are registered with a GP in the areas of Basildon, Rochford, Thurrock, Canvey, Southend and Rayleigh.

Service information
We offer a Podiatry Service to individuals who have a medical condition that places their foot health at high risk and who also have a foot problem that can be treated by the Podiatry Service. For example ulceration, corns or callous.
Conditions that have an impact on foot health include:
- Active or past foot ulceration and/or amputation.
- Moderate to High Diabetes at risk foot status.
- Patients diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis on DMARDS or Biologic Drugs.
- Patients with diagnosed circulatory conditions of the feet/lower limbs.
- Immunosuppressed patients.
Please note we do not provide a toenail cutting service, or treatment for verrucae or fungal skin/nails.

To self refer to the Podiatry service please use our online form which can also be accessed using QR code below to self refer to the Podiatry service.

We also accept referrals from GPs and other health professionals. Once completed, the form can be submitted using our online Microsoft Forms link, be sent by post, or submitted by a clinician through SystmOne.
