Our team provides employment support to people experiencing poor mental health throughout Essex. Our services are delivered in partnership with the charity Employ-Ability.
Our specialists have a lot of experience helping people realise their employment goals. Whether that’s finding paid work or helping to stay employed if their mental health is causing issues at work. We work on a one to one basis with people to offer the support they need.

Service Information
EPUT directly offer the service in North East and Mid Essex. We work in partnership with the charity Employ-Ability. They provide the service in West, South East ,South Essex and Southend on our behalf.

Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Employment Specialists service and Individual Placement and Support Primary Care (IPSPC)
We are specialists in helping people who have experienced mental and physical illness to find employment at a pace that works for them.
We will help you to identify, secure and stay in paid employment. We will help you to decide what type of work suits your interests, skills & experiences and your individual support needs. We will do this by putting together an action plan.
Our Employment Services, IPS Employment Specialists can help you if you are accessing community specialist mental health services or are being supported by a community mental health team.
The Individual Placement and Support Primary Care (IPSPC) service can help you find paid work and stay in work. Helping you to decide what type of work will suit your interests, skills & experiences and your individual support needs.

Employment Retention Service
Our retention team help people living in the Essex excluding Southend and Thurrock. People with ongoing mental or physical health illness has affected their ability to work.
Our Retention Service can help you if you are in work and struggling with your physical or mental health.
