Mateen is a practicing GP in London and Essex. He previously worked as Deputy Medical Director at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust and at NHS Enfield Clinical Commissioning Group.
Mateen has a passion for technology and innovation, is a regular broadcaster on new and innovative healthcare approaches and sits on a number of boards, including the Royal College of General Practitioners.
