Recently widowed I have experienced at first hand the services provided by Hospital Trusts across Mid, South and North East Essex areas. My professional back ground over the past 35 years has included public sector management including social care, public health, mental health and NHS services.
I have also served involuntary trustee director roles for Chelmsford CAB, Brentwood Community Transport serving terms as chairman and Vice Chair of each board over the years. Since 2011 I have also been an Elected Member of Chelmsford City Council.
I bring many years of board and management experience to this role as Governor.

I hope to bring a positive professional attitude supported by a wealth of experience at board level.
I have experience of quality assurance and audit management skill as well as supplier contract management skills.
This would give the ability to apply these skills to ensure the board are able to fully appreciate the best value and continuous improvement of health services for our communities.
I would enhance my skills and ability to provide ongoing development of our services and achieve a sense of wellbeing for myself knowing I have contributed to my fellow service users and community in Essex.
