Summer was in full swing at Rawreth Court during their recent community fete which brought together residents, their families and local residents to enjoy a host of different activities and entertainment.
Rawreth Court in Rayleigh is managed by Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT). It is a residential care home that supports older people including those with dementia.
Activities included a tombola, raffle, and various other fair games alongside a variety of different food and drink, whilst entertainment included music provided by volunteer Clive and live music from local singer Carly.
Everyone was able to enjoy the stalls and festivities on offer, with Air Ambulance and MP Mark Francois and Rochford Council Cllr Elizabeth Brewer also in attendance on the day.
Kim Maxwell, Activities Co-ordinator, said: “We had a great turn out, with residents and their families able to enjoy the day. We also had lots of neighbours popping in to join us and commenting on how lovely it was to be invited.”
The activities team regularly host events for patients and their families throughout the year, with all monies raised at this year’s summer fete going back into the Residents Activities fund to help support future events.
