A weekly football session for ex-military men and women has been arranged by the Veterans Mental Health Transition, Intervention and Liaison Service (TILS) at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) and the Essex County Football Association (ECFA).
The five-a-side football sessions will run every Thursday (9pm – 10pm) with the first session taking place on 8 November 2018, on the 3G pitch at Philip Morant School and College, Rembrandt Way, Colchester, CO3 4QS.
All ex-military personnel, living in Colchester and surrounding areas are welcome to take part. Military Veterans who wish to take part in the weekly football sessions should contact Daniel Chapman by email at [email protected]
Regular exercise has been shown to have positive benefits for physical and mental wellbeing.
It does not matter what skill level you have, just come along and join in. It’s a great opportunity to meet with other Military Veterans and enjoy a game of footy.
