Many of EPUT bank staff go on to secure substantive roles within the Trust whilst our substantive employees work additional bank shifts and go on to choose to stay working on the Trust bank after retirement.
The Trust has a dedicated Temporary Staffing Office that builds relationships with all of our bank staff and keeps in regular contact to establish availability alongside our employee on line system that allows workers to view all upcoming shifts available and self-book.
The Trust offers competitive pay rates with annual rises to work on the bank as well as an additional financial uplift for annual leave entitlement and encourages any agency workers who would like to transfer over to the bank the opportunity to do so.

Working as bank nurse in the community is enjoyable and challenging as it allows me to work as an autonomous practitioner and within a team, which in turn allows the best skills that you have come into play.
My job is flexible and different every day as you never know what you may encounter and it allows you to work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team to work together to allow people to remain in their own homes.
