The Family Group Conferencing service, provided by Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT) has been shortlisted for the Social Worker of the Year Award – Team of the Year.
Family Group Conferencing is about working with family and friends of patients, with the consent of the patient to develop suitable care plans to help with their recovery.
The team has been selected as a finalist in the Social Worker of the Year Awards 2017 as a result of their outstanding work with vulnerable adults.
The winners will be announced at an exclusive awards ceremony in London on Friday 24 November.
The Family Group Conferencing service is one of 81 finalists across 16 categories and the winners from each category will compete against each other to be named the “Overall Social Worker of the Year 2017.”
The prestigious awards ceremony is the leading celebration of its kind in the social care sector, and recognises the achievements and successes of the profession’s most innovative and dedicated social workers.
